2011 Board Meeting

A meeting of Board of The Barn Ladies Golf Association was held February 22nd at The Barn.  Those attending:  Marsene Patterson, Jolene Bushell, Karen Gardiner, Karen Kincaid, Sandy Nelson, Marie Tracy, Karen Bruin.

The 2011 schedule was finalized and is posted on our blog.  A printed copy will be handed out at the Opening Social.

To save costs, the 2011 booklet will be streamlined to contain a member list, schedule for Ladies Day, State Team Play and Northern Tournaments.  Local rules, golf etiquette and By-Laws are available on this blog.

Changes to the Articles and By-Laws were submitted and approved.  The most significant change was made to eligibility for Club Champion.  Article IV, Item D now reads: 

D.      To be eligible for the Club Champion, player must be a member of the Barn Ladies Association and have played at least 10 times, which include Tuesday and Saturday Ladies Day, State and Northern team played at The Barn.
 

2011 Opening Social

Our Opening Social is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 9th at 9:00 AM at The Barn.  The cost for breakfast will be paid by the association if you pay dues at the social.  For those who would like to play golf (weather permitting) after the meeting,  tee times will begin at 11:00 AM.
